DC Universe: Study Hall by brown_betty
Study Hall (Bart-Kon | G | 939 words) has Bart coming to Kon for help while Kon's in study hall. It's a great character piece. Because Kon doesn't really fit into Smallville, and Bart's more mature while still being young (if that makes any sense).
Excerpt:
"Kon, they're gonna die! And Flash won't help because he's got some kind of supervillian and I can't find Wonder Woman, and Superman's on some other planet! Probably with Aquaman, because nobody's answering their phone, either."
"What? Flash won't--"
"He says people are more important!" By Bart's wail, he thinks this is completely unfair and untrue but-- Waitasecond.
"People are-- Bart, who's going to die?" Because if this is some Bart garden emergency, Kon's gonna kick his ass so hard for thinking he's a farmer just because he lives in Smallville. Later, possibly. After he talks Bart out of being upset.
