Leverage: Life in the Twenty-First Century by aces
Life in the Twenty-First Century (Alec Hardison, Alec/Eliot/Parker | G | 4,104 words): Hardison and fandom and identity. This is basically a love letter to fandom and queer identities (it was originally written for LGBT Fest on LiveJournal). There's a ton of references, which are fun to spot, and I like the overall hopeful message.
Excerpt:
Hardison ended up accidentally instigating a minor flame war in X-Files fandom between Scully/Mulder and Mulder/Krycek fans. He really, really didn't mean to do that.
The Highlander incident the next year, though? Yeah, he meant that one.
