Five Times the Leverage Crew met the Daredevil Crew (Matt, Leverage ensemble | G | 789 words): Matt (and Karen and Foggy) and five times they run into someone from Leverage. This is a lot of fun seeing how the Leverage crew would approach Nelson & Murdock and how Matt would perceive the Leverage crew.

Excerpt:
Something doesn't feel right about it, though, and at first Matt can't put his finger on it. Everything this woman says is true, and she's genuinely trying to help, but something feels off. He questions her way longer than necessary, until Foggy starts apologizing for him and telling the woman that he'll take the case even if his partner is being stubborn, don't worry, they'll help, and when Matt hears Karen's sigh of relief he finally gives in.

I swear (hold steady) (Jason Todd | PG13 | 2,036 words): Eliot hires Jason to help at the brewpub. This is a lot of fun, especially seeing Hardison and Parker's reactions to Jason.

Excerpt:
And okay, Alec does his best not to stereotype, but he’d definitely been expecting some string bean of a fellow looking anxious — not a wall of muscle (seriously, his shoulders might be wider than Eliot’s!) in a leather jacket scowling at him with a shock of white in otherwise dark hair.

“Jesus?” Alec asks — using the Spanish pronunciation because he’s not an idiot — and trying to smile.

“I go by Jay,” and again, Alec is trying not to stereotype but he had maybe still been expecting that if there was a thick accent it was going to be Spanish not…not, what was that, New Jersey?

Exotic Particles (Rodney McKay-Parker | G | 1,006 words): Parker meets Rodney in a coffee shop. This is a fun, little crossover between two characters who frequently don't get how to people.

Excerpt:
"I didn't say you could sit there," the man said without looking away from the screen. His fingers worked independent of his mouth it seemed. Hers did too.

"I didn't ask," she said.

The man looked up at that, transferring his frown to her.

Her smile slipped away. "I'm supposed to ask, aren't I? That's a polite thing. I never get that right."

"Politeness is..." he waved his hand in a complicated spiral that she decided meant not worthy of my time.

Life in the Twenty-First Century (Alec Hardison, Alec/Eliot/Parker | G | 4,104 words): Hardison and fandom and identity. This is basically a love letter to fandom and queer identities (it was originally written for LGBT Fest on LiveJournal). There's a ton of references, which are fun to spot, and I like the overall hopeful message.

Excerpt:
Hardison ended up accidentally instigating a minor flame war in X-Files fandom between Scully/Mulder and Mulder/Krycek fans. He really, really didn't mean to do that.

The Highlander incident the next year, though? Yeah, he meant that one.

Like Destiny Derailed (Hardison/Parker, Gus/Shawn | G | 162 words): Hardison and Parker meet Gus and Shawn. These four would be pure chaos together, and this is the perfect way for them to meet.

Excerpt:
"Dibs," Hardison said. "I've totally got dibs."

"You can't call dibs!" Gus said.
