Star Wars: A Failure of Desire by 'chelle
Jun. 15th, 2004 04:39 pmA Failure of Desire (Qui-Gonn/Obi-Wan | PG13 | 1,215 words) is a parody of all the fics where padawans lust after their masters. Here, Obi-Wan doesn't lust after Qui-Gonn and has gone to see a shrink for help. Funny stuff here, especially the counselor's suggestions. And the ending is absolutely fantastic!
Excerpt:
"Ever been sent undercover as a slave and his owner?"
"No."
"Ever had to attend a fertility ritual?"
"No."
"Not even one involving a virgin sacrifice?"
"No."
"Hmmm. Perhaps I should speak to the Council about your assignments. You and Master Jinn seem to be missing all of the good ones."
"I'd really rather you didn't. Master Jinn doesn't know I'm here."
